How do I clean my records?
Use a carbon fiber brush before every play to remove surface dust. Wet clean with a cleaning solution and microfiber cloth every 20-30 plays. For heavily soiled used records, use an enzyme-based cleaner for deep cleaning.
Will cleaning remove scratches?
No. Cleaning removes dust, dirt, and grime from the grooves. It cannot repair physical groove damage. The goal of cleaning is to prevent scratches, not fix them.
How often should I replace my inner sleeves?
Replace plain paper sleeves immediately. Quality rice paper or anti-static sleeves last 10+ years under normal conditions. Replace if you notice discoloration, brittleness, or mold exposure.
Are your products safe for colored vinyl?
Yes. Our cleaning solutions and brushes are safe for all vinyl types including colored, translucent, and picture disc records. The material makes no difference to cleaning safety.
Can I use isopropyl alcohol to clean records?
Pure isopropyl alcohol can leach plasticizers from vinyl. If making a DIY solution, keep alcohol under 20% and use distilled water. We recommend purpose-formulated solutions lab-tested for vinyl safety.
What is the difference between starter and deep clean kits?
The Starter Care Set covers routine maintenance for well-cared-for records. The Deep Clean Bundle adds enzyme solution for heavily soiled used records and includes additional brush types. If you mostly buy new vinyl, start with the Starter Kit.
How do I store records properly?
Store vertically (never stacked flat), in a climate-controlled environment at 65-75°F and 40-50% relative humidity. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and exterior walls. Use quality inner and outer sleeves.

How long does shipping take?
Standard shipping takes 3-7 business days within the continental US. Express shipping (1-3 days) is available at checkout. You will receive a tracking number once your order ships.
